Women's Herbal Online

Virtual Session
May 22-25, 2020

Workshops with Tamara Wilder

I was honored to be invited to teach at the first ever Virtual Symposium, which was pulled together very last minute and took place on Zoom.

While it was nothing close to actually gathering together in person, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it connected us nonetheless. This event was the first of my regulars to go online since Covid-19 restrictions were put in place and having the chance to check in, chat and hang out together reinforced our community bonds in challenging times.

The classes that I offered were Wild Foods of Northern California and Cordage Fiber Plants & Stringmaking. The video slideshows upon which each class was based are available to download for a nominal fee or they (along with many others) can also be accessed by subscribing to my Patreon account.

The Northern California Women's Herbal Symposium began in 1991, as an inspiration from the Women Herbalist’s conference in southern Oregon, whose vision it was to see gatherings of this nature all across the country.
